Before starting, make sure you have all the essential tools like Torx T20 and T10 screwdrivers, Phillips #0 screwdriver, a metal spudger, and a plastic opening tool. These tools will be required to complete the task effectively.
To find the warranty sticker on the Xbox One, simply flip it over and locate the sticker on the back covering the screw. Use a metal spudger or flat blade screwdriver to carefully remove or cut the green sticker, revealing the screw.
Using the appropriate Torx screwdriver (T10 or T20), carefully unscrew the hidden screw located beneath the sticker mentioned in Step 2.
Flip your Xbox One back over and gently lift the top plastic shell off, starting from the sides. You’ll hear snaps as the clips release, allowing easy removal of the cover.
To locate and remove the long screws securing the inner casing, utilize a Torx T10 screwdriver. Lift off the inner case to complete the removal process.
To remove the Wi-Fi board, unscrew it using a T9 or T10 Torx screwdriver. Carefully lift the board after removing the black Wi-Fi wire.
To remove the fan, disconnect its power cable from the motherboard and use a Torx screwdriver to remove the 4 securing screws.
To remove the disk drive, utilize a Phillips #0 screwdriver to unscrew the screws securing it in place. Afterwards, detach the SATA and power cables that connect the drive to the console.
To remove the motherboard, detach all cables and unscrew using Torx T10. Lift it out attentively.
