To ensure compatibility, check if your device (iPhone 8 or later, iPad Pro, iPad, iPad Air, iPad mini, or iPod touch) with iOS 13 or later, supports audio sharing. Also, ensure your AirPods are 1st generation or later, AirPods Pro, AirPods Max, Powerbeats Pro, or Beats Solo Pro.
To connect your AirPods to your device, simply navigate to the Bluetooth settings and choose your AirPods from the available device list.
Begin playing the audio that you want to share from any application on your device such as Spotify, Apple Music, Podcasts, or YouTube. Once you’ve started playing the audio, you can proceed with the next steps to share it with others.
While the audio is playing, simply swipe down from the top right (iPhone X or newer) or up from the bottom (iPhone 8 or older) to open your Control Center and access additional features and settings.
In the control center, find and long press the “Now Playing” tile until it expands. Look for the “AirPlay” option, represented by a triangle inside a circle, and tap on it.
In the new AirPlay window, you can easily share audio by simply tapping on the “Share Audio” option at the bottom of the screen.
Follow the on-screen prompt, which may ask you to bring the second pair of AirPods closer to your device or open the AirPods case near your device. When the second pair appears, click on “Share Audio”.
After successfully connecting the second pair of AirPods, a check mark will appear next to them, indicating the successful sharing of audio between both pairs. This ensures a seamless and synchronized audio experience across the two connected AirPods.
