If you’re not already on it, simply swipe right or left to navigate to the camera screen, which is the default screen as soon as you open the app.
To begin creating your story, simply tap on the story button located in the top left corner of the screen. It is represented by a square shape with a plus sign inside of it. This button serves as your gateway to unleashing your creativity and sharing your unique narrative with others.
After tapping on the new story button, a menu will appear, providing various options. From this menu, simply tap on “Custom Story” to access a range of personalized storytelling features and tools.
When the next screen appears, choose “Private Story” to create a limited, exclusive group where only selected users can see and contribute to the story. This ensures that your content remains private and is shared only with the intended audience.
After selecting a Private Story, simply tap on the names of friends you want to include. They will be granted the privilege to view your chosen Private Story.
At the top of the friends list, you’ll find a designated box to enter the name for your story. Ensure the name is meaningful to help you recall its content effortlessly as time goes on.
Once you’ve selected friends to join your story and given it a catchy name, simply tap on the “Create Story” button located at the bottom of the screen to start bringing your narrative to life.
To add content to your Private Story, simply capture a photo or video using Snapchat, and then click the arrow icon to include it in the story. The process is identical to adding content to a regular Snapchat story.
After capturing your snap, a menu will pop up, offering options to choose where you want to share it. Remember to specifically select the private story you have recently created to ensure its privacy.
