To start, open the latest version of the Snapchat app on your mobile device.
To access your account, please provide your username and password if you are not already logged in.
To access the list of chats, simply swipe right on the screen. Locate the desired chat and tap on it to open. From there, you can easily delete any saved messages you no longer wish to keep.
Saved messages are easily identifiable with a color highlight, either gray or blue, depending on who saved them. While browsing the conversation, you can quickly locate the specific saved message you want to delete.
To unsave a message, simply press and hold the saved message. Once you do, the text color will change, indicating that the message has been successfully unsaved.
Contact the recipient and kindly request them to remove the saved message from their end too, as deleting it fully requires both parties to unsave it.
To erase the entire conversation, access the list of chats, go to your profile icon, select settings, and tap on ‘Clear Conversations’ under ‘Account Actions’. Locate the user’s name and tap the ‘X’ to delete their conversation.
