To access Gmail from your computer, launch your preferred internet browser. In the URL bar, enter “www.gmail.com” and press enter. If prompted, enter your user account information to log in and access your Gmail inbox.
Once you are logged in into your Gmail account, at the top part of the screen, you will see different tabs like Primary, Social, Promotions, etc. Click on the “Promotions” tab to access promotional emails.
The checkbox at the top left corner selects all emails on the page when clicked.
Once you’ve checked the checkbox to select all the emails on the current page, a message will appear above your emails indicating “All 50 conversations on this page are selected. Select all conversations in Promotions.” Simply click on “Select all conversations in Promotions” to proceed.
Once all emails selected in the Promotions tab, click the Trash Bin icon to delete all.
After clicking on the Trash Bin icon, a pop-up might appear asking you to confirm your action. Simply click ‘Ok’ or ‘Confirm’ to proceed with the deletion.
Emails in Gmail are not immediately permanently deleted but rather sent to the Trash Folder. To permanently delete them, open the Trash folder, and click “Empty Bin now”.
