To access YouTube Premium, open the YouTube app or visit the website and ensure you’re logged into the same Google account you used for the purchase.
In the top right corner of the YouTube homepage, you can see your profile picture. Click on it to open a drop-down menu, where you can access various settings and features related to your account.
In the drop-down menu, select “Paid memberships” to access a new screen showing your current subscriptions.
Navigate to the ‘Paid Memberships’ page and locate ‘YouTube Premium’ under your existing memberships.
Beside ‘YouTube Premium’, you’ll see a list of options under ‘Manage’. Click on the one labelled ‘Manage Membership’ to access settings and make changes to your subscription, billing information, and other account details.
Once you click on ‘Manage Membership’, a new dropdown menu will appear, allowing you to easily select ‘Cancel Membership’ and proceed with the cancellation process.
After selecting the option to cancel your membership, a confirmation screen will appear seeking your confirmation. Simply click ‘Yes’ to proceed with the cancellation.
After confirming your cancellation, YouTube may request you to complete a brief optional survey, where you can provide feedback on your decision to cancel. However, you have the choice to skip this step if you prefer.
After cancellation, YouTube will send a confirmation email to verify the successful completion of the cancellation process. Please check your email inbox for this confirmation message.
