To add columns to your desired spreadsheet, begin by launching Microsoft Excel and then navigate to the sheet you wish to modify using the spreadsheet application’s interface.
To add a new column, simply click on the lettered cell located above the first cell in the column where you want to create the column. This action will automatically select and highlight the entire column, allowing you to easily add your desired content.
After selecting the desired column, simply right-click on it and choose the ‘Insert’ option from the drop-down menu. A new column will be inserted on the left side of the originally selected column.
Once you’ve added the new column, don’t forget to save your changes. Simply click on the ‘File’ tab, located in the top left corner of the spreadsheet, and select ‘Save’ from the drop-down menu.
Once you have successfully added the new column, it’s time to start filling it with the necessary data. Feel free to input any relevant information into the individual entries of this newly created column.
